The manufacturer has stopped production of this item. We have none left, and cannot get more. But we can help you find a comparable alternative that is available.
Making the move to a standalone engine management solution can get overwhelming once you start trying to pick out the sensors you'll need to make everything work. We went ahead and created a package deal that includes the critical components that you'll need for your build.
AEM Series 2 ECU - We like to use this ECU because it does a lot of what most people need without the headaches. This ecu does flex fuel, launch control, boost by gear, and a lot of the other features you would want from an ECU without breaking the bank.
MAP Sensor - We have included a motec map sensor because the ECU will need to see a map sensor to function. We also include the map sensor connector and pins with this package.
IAT Sensor - The ECU needs to be able to read the temperature of the air entering the engine. The included Motec IAT sensor and connector kit accomplishes this for you.
AEM Wideband o2 Air Fuel Ratio Gauge Kit - A wideband o2 gauge kit is necessary for tuning. This is one of the most affordable and easy to install and use gauges on the market. It easily integrates into the ECU and has an easy to read gauge display that compliments most interiors nicely.
Fuel Pressure Sensor - This is a sensor that many people overlook but we made sure you didn't by including it in this kit. Logging fuel pressure during pulls will tell you if you have a fuel supply issue. This is important for recognizing when you are approaching the limit of your fuel system, or if you have it setup correctly.
Boost Control Solenoid - This solenoid is how the ECU tells the wastegate how to control the boost pressure in your turbo setup. In the ECU you can configure boost by gear, boost by speed, boost by rpm etc, but you cant do any of that without a boost control solenoid hooked up to the ECU.
Flex Fuel Sensor - This sensor reads the amount of ethanol in the fuel. For example, E85 typically has around 85% ethanol composition. The stoichiometric ratio of fuel changes as the ethanol composition changes. That means your tune has to change every time the ethanol composition changes. The AEM Series 2 engine management system has the ability to adjust its tune automatically based on the ethanol content percentage, but it needs this sensor to measure the ethanol content percentage of the fuel entering the engine. This sensor allows you to run any mix of pump gas and e85 which makes daily driving much more convenient.
We have combined all of these parts together into a package deal for you so that you can place 1 order and get everything you need in 1 shot without the headache of trying to track down multiple parts. And you end up saving some money this way too.
AEM's Series 2 EMS is a complete engine control system that plugs into the factory harness and uses the factory sensors. This means you do not need to replace any parts of the harness or sensors, just plug the EMS into the harness and begin tuning! The Series 2 EMS allows you to control every aspect of your 2.3L F23. From VTEC to rev limit, timing, adding different sized injectors, boost control, nitrous injection, even anti-lag and individual cylinder fuel and timing trims, the Series 2 EMS gives you total control from an easy to use interface. |

If you need to read more than 30psi of boost, we can offer you a 5bar map sensor which will read to 58psi of positive boost pressure. When selecting a map sensor, bigger is not always better. A bigger map sensor will allow you to read more boost pressure, but a bigger map sensor uses the same 0-5 volt output as a smaller map sensor, meaning the smaller map sensor would have a better resolution. So the best way to pick a map sensor would be to determine how much boost you will max out at, if it is 30psi or below, get the 3 bar. If it is over 36psi get the 5 bar.
Motec Connector for M16-0749
Air Intake Temperature Sensor (AIT) provides intake air temperature information to the ECU and is a critical component of the engine management system as air temperature directly effects air density (as air gets hotter it gets less dense). The (AIT) is made to OEM specifications and couples with a weatherproof wiring connector.
Air temperature sensor, 14 x 1.5 mm Delco 15 to 100 °C
Connector for M25-7225 (Motec IAT Sensor)
AEM's World-famous Wideband O2 air/fuel ratio UEGO gauge features a digital LED display and sweeping LED 'needle' that changes colors as AFR changes from rich to lean. A 52mm (2-1/16") gauge housing ensures that it will fit in most gauge pods and can be remotely mounted virtually anywhere. All AEM digital gauges feature a 0-5v analog output for use with data loggers and almost any engine management system. Each gauge comes with black and silver bezels and black and white faceplates for multiple color combinations and a custom look (a black Lambda faceplate and black and white Air/Fuel Ratio faceplates).
The Bosch UEGO sensor gives the controller its speed and accuracy. The Bosch 4.9 LSU sensor used in the 30-4110 AEM Wideband UEGO AFR Controller Gauge has a faster light off time and draws less current than the 4.2 LSU sensor used with AEM’s 30-4100 Wideband UEGO Controller Gauge, which will be superseded to the 30-4110 gauge in August, 2014. The 4.9 LSU sensor features the same fuel compatibility as the 4.2 LSU and NEVER requires free-air calibration when used with AEM’s 30-4110 Wideband UEGO AFR Gauge. The 30-4110’s 4.9 LSU sensor uses a different connector than the connector used with the 4.2 LSU sensors included with the original 30-4100 gauge controller. The sensors are not interchangeable between the two gauge controllers in any way, including changing connectors on the gauges.
The Wideband O2 air/fuel ratio UEGO gauge is a must if you want to maximize your engine's power and safety. When tuning an engine, accurate air/fuel ratio data is critical because running with too rich of an AFR can cause a loss of power, and running a lean AFR can result in serious engine damage. AEM's digital Wideband AFR UEGO gauge can quickly alert you to even a .1 change in air/fuel ratio and provide enough time to shut down an engine before damage occurs.

Boost control solenoid kit with 1/8-NPT. Includes barb adaptors, connector plug with flying lead & solenoid.
Ethanol Content Flex Fuel Sensor Kit (-6 AN). -6 AN Fittings. Includes: Flex Fuel Content Sensor, -6 AN Fittings, Connector, Terminals & Wire Seals.
AEM’s Flex Fuel Ethanol Content Sensor Kits measure a vehicle’s fuel ethanol content percentage and fuel temperature, which allows users with programmable engine management systems (capable of tuning for flex fuel) the ability to optimize an engine’s tuning calibration for fuel ethanol content. While many gas stations label flex fuel as E85 (85% Ethanol and 15% Gasoline), actual ethanol content can be much different. Using AEM’s Flex Fuel Ethanol Content Sensor delivers the ability to determine the amount of fuel blend being used at any given time.
This sensor is ideal for use with AEM’s Infinity standalone programmable ECU & Series 2 EMS on flex-fuel equipped vehicles, or it can be connected to a dash display or data logger.
