The GSR/Type-R Oil Pump that we sell is designed primarily for the United States Spec B-Series Engines. These oil pumps take the 80mm Oil Pump Gear. If you have an older OBD1 B-Series Oil Pump or a JDM Oil Pump, you might need the 84mm oil pump gear. Made from high spec material and machined by CNC, to give you improved high-speed reliability. Standard Honda oil pumps are made from sintered alloy, this is fine for standard use, but for high performance applications, reliability is questionable.
