(S13) Nissan JDM OEM Oil Pump & Front Cover SR20/SR20DET

This is a brand new authentic Nissan OEM Oil Pump and Front Cover assembly for an S13 Nissan SR20/SR20det engine.

Like most car parts with moving pieces, oil pumps have a finite lifespan. They all will eventually fail. When, and How they will fail depends on how well the engine was maintained and treated. When building a block, everything comes off the engine: the oil pump, the water pump, it all gets removed. Build your block once, the right way, and replace the oil pump while you are in there. Having everything apart already gives you an excellent opportunity to put a new pump back on when its reassembled. This will prevent you from having to pay extra labor and have additional downtime to do it later.

The last thing you want to have happen is lose your brand new built engine to an oil pump failure because the high mileage factory pump went back on the engine instead of a new one.
