JE offers 2 different types of skirt designs. Full Round, and FSR.
This is the newer FSR (Forged Side Relief) skirt style. JE is slowly transitioning all of their applications over to this superior design. The FSR forging allows unmatched strength while shedding unnecessary weight through machining. In short, they are light, and strong, and they are the future of pistons.
These are a brand new set of JE Pistons and Brian Crower Rods (bROD). These rods are good to about 600hp and the pistons are good well past that. If you need a stronger rod we can upgrade you to the Brian Crower BC625+ or if you are going for top of the line we have Manley Turbo Tuff I-Beam, Pauter X-Beam and Carrillo A, Super-A and H-Beam Rods.
Whether you damaged your stock internals, you are building an all out race engine, or you are just looking to upgrade your stock bottom end. JE/Brian Crower is one of the best options you can choose for pistons and rods. JE's superior strength, design, and heavy duty wrist pins give them an obvious advantage in terms of piston reliability. Brian Crower Rods are light weight and durable with a reputation for excellent quality control and availability.
