NOTE! Most vendors that sell ARP Part Numbers for the KA24 just list what is given to them in the price sheet. However, the KA24DE needs 3 extra studs that are longer than the normal main studs to complete the kit that do not come with the KA24DE part number supplied by ARP. This item is a complete kit including the 3 extra longer studs.
When rebuilding an engine, there are several stock parts you wont want to reuse. Stock main studs stretch over time, and even more so each time they are re-tightened. Each time they stretch, their clamping abiltiy decreases. If mainstuds stretch, bearings can spin, and possibly even worse. Mainstuds are a low cost item that can mean the difference between your engine lasting, or not. Use ARP mainstuds for your engine build.
