In a nutshell, the AEM Serial Gauge is a way to display 19 different data values from an AEM Engine Management System in 1 Gauge. Its like having 19 gauges in 1. Any parameter that is read by the AEM EMS can be output to th serial gauge. This includes (but is not limited to)
- Boost
- Oil Temp
- Oil Pressure
- Water Temp
- Intake Air Temp
- RPM
- MPH
- EGT
- Voltage
- Wideband O2
- and MUCH more...
and all of these values can be cycled onto the screen with the press of a button on the front face.
The AEM Digital Serial Gauge is a standard 52mm diatmeter to fit in most mounting solutions.
Why you want one:
AEM makes lots of great gauges. For example, the UEGO Wideband O2 Kit with Gauge, The TruBoost Gauge Style Boost Controller, their large line of digital and analog temperature and pressure gauges, and more. However, the AEM Serial Gauge can display any/all of those values, as well as many more seen by the AEM EMS. If you wish to display more than 1 value at once, you can link multiple serial gauges together.
Alarm Values:
You can set Min/Max alarm values through the provided software that will alert you when limits have been reached. This helps to notify you when the engine gets too hot, the boost goes too high, the meth injection flow gets too low, or anything else you can imagine.
Output Triggers:
This gauge comes with 2 outputs that will allow you to trigger a warning light (not included) or some fail-safe setup to trigger on an event you programmed through the provided software
