PRECISION TURBO AND ENGINE has released the next generation of class legal turbochargers for SFWD. PTE’s new GEN2 PT7285 CEA® features advanced aerodynamics and is sure to be boosting cars to the winner’s circle this race season. 

Featuring an exclusive 72mm inducer GEN2 CEA® (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) compressor wheel machined from a 2618-aluminum forging and an 85mm CEA® turbine wheel, Precision’s GEN2 PT7285 CEA® turbocharger is rated to support up to 1,200 horsepower. 

PTE’s technologically advanced CEA® wheels are known for their unparalleled performance, greater efficiency at higher pressure ratios, less turbo lag, ability to handle higher boost, and offer massive power gains over older wheel designs of similar sizes 

Precision’s GEN2 PT7285 CEA® turbo is also equipped with an air-cooled, dual ceramic ball-bearing center housing rotating assembly (CHRA) for faster transient response and added thrust capacity. 

Additionally, Precision’s GEN2 PT7285 CEA® turbocharger comes standard with a divided T4-flange turbine housing with 4 5/8” V-band distance for easy installation. Users can select from either a 1.28 A/R T4 housing.

Approved for use in the Sport Compact Front Wheel Drive classes which limit compressor wheel size to a maximum of 72mm, Precision’s new turbocharger is poised to out-perform similarly sized turbos from other manufacturers.
