Description

The ultimate high end HP racing camshafts for highly modified K Series engines. 316/308 Duration, 14.70mm/13.00mm Lift camshafts to suit high compression K series motors 2.4l or larger. Featuring Kelford's ultra smooth lobe designs for increased performance and reliability while retaining maximum area under the flow curve, these racing cams offer large gains to the serious K Series engine builders.

Warning! These are not for street cars, they are for professionally built and tuned competition engines. The 179-C cam set suits high compression motors that are built to run 320 hp. In our 2.4l methanol burning dirt track midget car we make 370hp and 260 ft/lb with these camshafts. If you have a street / strip car with all the normal 'off the shelf' internals on Av-Gas or C12 and use the 179-B, it will be a faster car than if you 'over cam' it. If your engine has stock internals, use the 179-A. it is the best cam on the market for stock internals and bolt on externals. 179-C Primary/Intermediate lobe specifications are 280 & 282/264 degrees advertised duration. 11.60mm & 12.25mm/10.00mm lift.
