AEM EMS 4 Plug & Pin Kit Pre-wired for Power Ground CAN USB Coms

There are two situations where the use of this plug and pin connector becomes more appropriate than buying the full-length harness.

1.) If you want to leave your factory wiring harness in the car, you could cut the factory ecu connector off the ecu-end of your factory harness, apply the supplied aem pins to the now open ends of your wires, and pin them into the aem connector.

or

2.) You coould purchase an AEM Jumper Harness Extension that acts as a bridge between your factory ECU and your factory wiring harness. Then you would do the same thing as above, but to the jumper. Cutting the ecu end off of it and wiring the now-open wires into the EMS4 connector found in this listing. That way you leave your factory harness untouched.
